This Privacy Policy explains how opensky24 ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use the opensky24 website, the opensky24 mobile applications for iOS and Android, and any related services (together, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to the practices described here.

• Account data — email address, display name, password (hashed), language preference.
• Listing data — text, photos, price, category and location you submit when posting classifieds.
• Messages — content of in-app messages between you and other users.
• Device & usage data — IP address, device type, OS version, app version, crash logs, pages viewed, approximate location (city level, derived from IP).
• Precise location — only if you explicitly enable it to see nearby listings.
• Cookies & similar technologies — for authentication, preferences and basic analytics.

• To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
• To publish and display your listings to other users.
• To enable messaging, alerts and saved searches.
• To prevent fraud, spam and abuse, and to keep the platform safe.
• To improve the Services, fix bugs and develop new features.
• To send service messages and, with your consent, marketing emails (you can unsubscribe anytime).
• To comply with legal obligations.

We process personal data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (account, listings, messaging), legitimate interests (security, anti-fraud, service improvement), consent (precise location, marketing emails, non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (tax, law-enforcement requests).

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Other users — content you choose to publish (listings, public profile, messages you send).
• Service providers — hosting, database, email delivery, analytics, crash reporting, payment processing. They act on our instructions under written contracts.
• Authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, property or safety.
• Successors — in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, subject to this Policy.

Some of our providers are located outside the EEA/UK. Where this is the case we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards to protect your data.

We keep account data while your account is active and for up to 24 months after deletion to meet legal and accounting obligations. Listings are kept until you remove them or for up to 12 months after expiry. Server and security logs are kept for up to 12 months.

You have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. EEA/UK users may lodge a complaint with their local data-protection authority (in Greece: the HDPA). To exercise your rights write to info@opensky24.com.

The Services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We use technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, role-based access and audit logs. No service is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest revision.
